In 2017,with the introduction of English Curriculum Standards(2017 edition),English teaching in junior high schools was faced with a series of new challenges and constraints by the new teaching requirements.Junior high schools English teaching has begun to pay more attention to four language skills:listening,speaking,reading and writing,and among these four language skills,writing plays a particularly important role in improving students' comprehensive ability.Therefore,the writing course has become a key and difficult problem in the improvement of English teaching in basic education.At present,with the development of information technology,various technical means have been integrated into every link of classroom teaching.Traditional classrooms are gradually adopting a new teaching model--"flipping the classroom".In the new teaching model of the flipped classroom,students take the form of micro-videos and self-study with relevant materials before class.During the classroom teaching time,students discuss homework with their teacher to achieve classroom flipping.In this study,under the guidance of the constructivism learning theory,the flipped classroom teaching model is adopted for the English writing teaching in the first grade of junior high school.The application effect of the flipped classroom teaching model in the English writing class in the first grade of junior high school is tested through literature study,questionnaire,interview,and other experiment research methods.By the comparative analysis,the results between this model and the traditional teaching model show that:first of all,most students who participate in flipped classroom teaching give a high evaluation of this teaching model.Secondly,the flipped classroom teaching model can improve students'English performance.Thirdly,the flipped classroom teaching model can optimize the teaching effect and give full play to the students' dominant position.However,there are also some problems in the process of adopting the flipped classroom teaching model:firstly,for learners,teachers cannot effectively monitor students' learning situation,because students finish their independent learning at home before class.Secondly,some teachers are not proficient in using the latest information technology,so they can't give full play to the advantages of the flipped classroom teaching model.Thirdly,for schools with poor information technology equipment,it is difficult to implement the flipped classroom teaching model.Through the research of this study,it can be concluded that it is of great importance to explore the feasibility and effect of the English writing teaching model reform in junior high schools.It can change the traditional single teaching idea and teaching method,and improve the teaching status quo,such as the junior high school students in English learning strategies and learning methods lacking of effective guidance,low interest in study,not strong in action,so as to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.It will help learners to cultivate students' English language expression and writing ability,to promote the development of English thinking,to form the good habit of independent learning and lifelong learning.
