A Study On Modal Particles In Xixian Dialect,Henan

Through field investigation and corpus analysis,this thesis describes and analyzes modal particles in Xixian dialect from a synchronic perspective,and summarizes the characteristics of modal particles in Xixian dialect.The thesis has four chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction.It mainly introduces the geographical features,historical evolution,administrative divisions of Xixian,the attribution,phonological system of Xixian dialect,and the current research situation of Mandarin and dialect modal particles,and explains the research significance,research methods,corpus sources and style description.Chapter 2:modal particles in Xixian dialect.This chapter contains 18 dialect modal particles.According to the distributions in sentences,these modal particles are divided into two categories:end-sentence modal particles and mid-sentence modal particles,of which there are 18 end-sentence modal particles and 6 mid-sentence modal particles.Modal particles at the end of the sentence are divided into four categories:declarative tone,interrogative tone,imperative tone and exclamatory tone according to the type of tone,and the inductive tone is analyzed;the number of mid-sentence modal particles is not large,but the distribution is flexible and variable,therefore,we enumerate the mid-sentence modal particles,specifically analyze the possible distribution positions of each word,summarize its tone meaning,and analyze the pragmatic function.Chapter 3:the co-occurrence of modal particles in Xixian dialect.This chapter examines the co-occurrence modal particles in Xixian dialect.The co-occurrence of modal particles in Xixian dialect is mainly manifested in two cases of two-word combined use and three-word combined use,the two-word combination is mainly used,and the three-word combination is relatively rare.Through the detailed description of the specific combinations of co-occurrence,the analysis summarizes the conditions of co-occurrence,the rules of co-occurence,and the tone meaning of co-occurrence.Chapter 4:Conclusion.This chapter summarizes the content of the whole thesis,summarizes the main features of modal particles in Xixian dialect,and analyzes the main dificiencies of this article.
