Resecrch On The Patterns Of Traditional Dongyang Woodcarving Board

The traditional Dongyang wood carving board art has a long history.When designing and applying the traditional pattern on the board,we should take into account the culture of traditional China and the art of wood carving.In modern society,there are some problems in the design and application of traditional patterns due to the differences between the patterns of furniture or interior decoration parts and traditional patterns,as well as the differences in production process and design concept.This paper makes a deep research on the traditional Dongyang wood carving pattern from the four aspects of the artistic concept,theme,composition form and pattern form of the traditional Dongyang wood carving pattern,which provides some theoretical basis for the design of the traditional wood carving pattern and some references for the application of the traditional wood carving pattern on the modern carrier.First of all,it analyzes the origin and development of traditional Chinese woodcarving and traditional Dongyang woodcarving.The research results show that the artistic concept of traditional Dongyang woodcarving board pattern takes into account the artistry of the pattern and the functionality of the carrier,and caters to the hierarchical concept derived from the traditional etiquette cultural rules.Secondly,identify the content of the subject matter and bring it into the concept of hierarchy to classify the subject matter,analyze the application form of the subject matter in the same plane and on different carriers,and summarize the application law of the pattern subject matter.The results show that:the level of various themes,the primary and secondary relationship in composition,and the performance trend of patterns show a fixed trend;in themes,figure patterns and flower,insect and bird patterns are the most widely used,and the themes of patterns are in order of figure patterns,animal patterns,bird patterns,ancient patterns,flower patterns,other plant patterns,landscape architecture patterns.Then,through the statistics of the proportion of the main patterns of different themes,the composition patterns of different proportions are analyzed,and the composition rules of patterns are summarized.The results show that:the main pattern is divided into transverse,central and longitudinal format.The composition of the pattern in the same format is similar.The smaller the proportion is,the more suitable for horizontal composition,the closer the proportion is,the more suitable for central composition,the more suitable for triangle composition and S-shape composition.The arrangement of the primary and secondary relationship of patterns in composition is determined by the level of patterns.Finally,by analyzing the specific form and dynamic change form of sub patterns under different patterns,the expression rules of patterns are summarized.The results show that:the proportion of the main pattern in different proportion is not fixed,and the proportion of the body is fixed.At the time of change,we should keep or strengthen the main features of the patterns,compress or delete the minor parts of the characters and fix the dynamic changes of the characters to cater to the aesthetic cognition of different characters in the society at that time.The form of other patterns is similar to the image of traditional Chinese painting,and different blocks are distinguished by different arrangement of dots or lines.
