On The Artistic Innovation Of Opera The Savage Land In Its Era

After the May 4th New Culture Movement,the trend of ideological emancipation was gradually rising.With the desire and voice of people from all walks of life to seek the development and prosperity of national culture,opera art came into China in this cultural wave.With the continuous exchange and mutual penetration of Chinese and foreign culture and art,Chinese opera went through many historical stages,such as the national salvation movement,the establishment of new China,reform and opening up,in the one-hundred-year development.The Savage Land,one of the representative works of Chinese opera,has become an important symbol for Chinese opera to be on the world stage,which is called "the Chinese opera that shakes the western stage".Based on the analysis of the creation of vocal music,the creation of characters and the creation of music,combined with the cultural background of the times and the composers' creative conception and ideas,this paper summmarizes the creative features of The Savage Land in terms of artistic expression from the perspectives of its nationality,time sense and its leading role.There are four parts in this paper.In the introduction part,the background,research status,research methods and significance of this topic are described.The first chapter expounds the important position of the opera The Savage Land in the history of Chinese opera,introduces the creation background and the story outline.The second chapter shows the innovation of the artistic characteristics of the opera The Savage Land from three aspects:the artistic characteristics of vocal music creation,the artistic innovation of character image creation,and the innovative characteristics of musical creation techniques.The third chapter summarizes the creative ideas and functions of The Savage Land in its nationality,time sense and its leading role,as well as the important enlightenment to the opera and music creation in the new era of China.
