As an important part of Chinese teaching,teaching materials not only play an important role in the teaching of Chinese teachers,but also affect the purpose and quality of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The primary Chinese listening and speaking textbooks,aiming at the primary Chinese learners,take the integration and development of"listening" and "speaking" skills as the guideline,and are the important supporting materials for TCFL sub skill training.Based on a comprehensive consideration,this paper selects two sets of listening and speaking teaching materials in the basic stage--"Chinese primary intensive course · listening and speaking " and "progress of the road to success·listening and speaking".Four aspects are selected from the contents of the teaching materials,namely,the compilation concept,teaching material style,topic distribution,exercise design,etc.Through comparison,statistics,questionnaire survey,individual interviews and other methods,the advantages of the two sets of teaching materials in these four aspects are explored,and the shortcomings of the two sets of teaching materials are also found out,and suggestions are put forward for the imperfect points.This paper studies from the following parts:The first is the introduction,which is explained from seven points.The first point describes the reasons for the research from the aspects of international communication of Chinese,the construction of Chinese teaching materials,teaching mode of Chinese as a foreign language,teaching practice,etc.;the second point explains the value of this study from the perspectives of theory and practice;the third point introduces the research object of this paper and expounds the reasons for choosing the two sets of textbooks;the fourth point indicates that the research is based on multiple theories The fifth part introduces the theoretical basis of this study and the general situation of related research.The last two points are the research ideas and research methods of this paper.Four aspects of the contents of the two sets of textbooks are selected.From the large and small perspectives,the methods of literature research,comparative analysis,statistics,enumeration,questionnaire survey and other methods are used for discussion.The second part is the macro comparison of the two sets of textbooks,mainly introduces the compiling concept and style of the textbooks.This paper first introduces the development of the compilation concept of TCFL textbooks,and then analyzes and compares the compilation concepts of the two sets of textbooks.Then,it introduces the external style and internal style of the two sets of teaching materials respectively,and makes a comparative analysis of the internal and external styles of the two sets of teaching materials.The third part is the topic distribution of the two sets of teaching materials and the practice setting of the two sets of teaching materials.In terms of topics,this paper mainly analyzes the distribution of topics in textbooks,how compilers compile topics in textbooks,and how learners evaluate topics in textbooks.In terms of exercises,the paper first introduces the amount of exercises in the two sets of textbooks,then introduces the differences of exercise types between the two sets of textbooks,and finally investigates the difficulty of exercises in the textbooks.The fourth part is the summary of the research situation.The first part is the basic conclusion.The second part is based on the research results and some suggestions on the compilation of teaching materials.The fifth part is the conclusion of this study.On the one hand,it lists the main points and conclusions of this study,and on the other hand,it explains the limitations of this study.
