Since the Australian government listed Chinese as an optional subject for the national college entrance examination,the trend of "Chinese craze" has set off wave after wave in Australia,and the scale and quality of Chinese education in Australia is also in the forefront of the world.As a result,the demand for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Australia is growing higher and higher.No matter in public schools,private schools or community schools,there all have set up Chinese classes,and there are also some special Chinese Tutoring classes in society.With the increasing number of Chinese learners,the teaching staff of TCFL is also facing the demand of upgrading.How to promote the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Australia has become an important issue in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Looking at the relevant research on Teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Australia over the years,it can be found that there are few in-depth research on Teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Australia,and there is not enough theory and experience to support the research on the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Australia.This paper is based on the author's 8-month practical experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language at the Coffs Harbour High School in New South Wales,Australia,and combined with the domestic and foreign research results on the classroom teaching skills of elementary TCFL to study and compile.Then we put forward the corresponding solutions to the teaching skills problems existing in the classroom teaching of Australian TCFL.This paper first expounds some theoretical concepts,integrated analysis for the concepts of TCFL comprehensive course,TCFL classroom teaching skills and primary stage,then briefly introduces the basic situation of my teaching school.After that,this paper focuses on the elementary TCFL classroom teaching skills of middle school students,combined with the investigation and research on the classroom teaching situation of 20 Volunteers of Chinese teachers in 16 other schools in New South Wales that offer Chinese classes and the interview and research on Chinese teachers and volunteers of Coffs Harbour High School,Combined with the investigation and research on the classroom teaching situation of 20 Volunteers of Chinese teachers in 16 other schools in New South Wales that offer Chinese classes and the interview and research on Chinese teachers and volunteers of Coffs Harbour High School,starting from the four skills of classroom content arrangement,classroom organization and management,teacher's language and the application of multimedia and network resources,this paper expounds how to use these four skills to solve the problems existing in the classroom of Coffs Harbour High School's elementary comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language.The purpose of this paper is to improve the classroom teaching efficiency of elementary TCFL and promote the continuous development of TCFL in Australia,and provide reference for the Chinese teachers in Australia in the future.
