In the process of learning a language, the development of human’s basic language abilities and the forming process are mostly in the initial stage of language learning. So the elementary Chinese teaching is most significant for the whole world of teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL). Moreover, the elementary Chinese teaching is the core of the TCFL, and the teaching efficiency will have direct or indirect influences on other courses. Therefore, to research the elementary comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language is much more indispensable.Based on the previous research results, this thesis aims at investigating and analyzing the classroom teaching design of elementary comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language, and combining my classroom teaching practice and experience. Proceeding from the reality of TCFL, the thesis attempts to put the relevant theories of teaching design into the specific TCFL, according to the theoretical basis of teaching design, it tries to make thorough and systematic analysis and research on the elementary comprehensive Chinese as a foreign language, which includes every step for the comprehensive classroom teaching, such as:reviewing, leading-in, teaching of vocabulary, text, grammar and assigning homework, etc. and also making a brief statement about the problems occurred in the process of every classroom teaching step.The thesis is made up of five parts. Chapter one is the introduction, which mainly describes the background of selected theme, significance and research methods, and research status of teaching design made by scholars at home and abroad as well as the main content of this thesis; Chapter two introduces the levels of teaching design and related theoretical basis; Chapter three is the most important part of this thesis, which chief presents the classroom teaching design of elementary comprehensive Chinese in the teaching design of the TCFL, and tentatively puts forward a framework and general mode of comprehensive Chinese classroom teaching; Chapter four makes a detailed design of classroom teaching on " the Development of Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Chinese"(Ⅰ) of Lesson Thirteen:"I Have Moved", and makes a elaborate demonstration about operating and implementing of every steps; Chapter five is a questionnaire survey, which investigates the degree of overseas students’ satisfaction about the present comprehensive Chinese, and disposes the data and analyses the results of the questionnaire survey, which, I hope, will help and contribute a lot to the classroom teaching design of comprehensive Chinese.
