Primary school's English homework is facing a variety of problems.For example,on the one hand,some students think the homework is boring and therefore they don't complete the homework seriously,and on the other hand,teachers' workload of correcting students' homework is so heavy that teachers' feedback of students' homework is not timely.As a result,the current primary school's English homework can not really become the continuation and supplement of classroom teaching.Therefore,primary school's English homework needs to be reformed.Under the background of the accelerated development of information technology,various network homework platforms emerge at the right moment,providing a new way for teachers to assign homework,for students to complete homework,and for teachers to evaluate homework.And it also provides a new way for the reform of primary school's English homework.Therefore,combined with the author's own teaching work,the author has carried out the research on the application of network homework in the English homework of grade 4 in a primary school.The main methods used in this research are literature research,questionnaire survey and experiment.Firstly,the author has read relevant literature,mainly in order to understand the research status of traditional homework and network homework at home and abroad,define the relevant concepts of homework,and learn theoretical knowledge that has guiding significance for primary school's English homework.And then the author has used the experimental method to carry out the application research of network homework in the concrete teaching practice.The experimental class used network homework and traditional homework.The comparative class only used traditional homework.Next,the author has used questionnaires to find out students' learning attitude,personal feeling and homework completion in different forms of homework.And then students have taken the English proficiency test to verify whether network homework has improved their English achievements.The research results show that network homework has a positive effect both on the learning effect of students and the teaching effect of teachers,but the use of network homework can also cause some practical problems,such as students' excessive use of the network,students' visual fatigue and so on.Finally,the author has put forward some suggestions on using network homework feasibly.
