Recently,with the deepening of economic globalization,China has attached great importance to the development of scientific and technological innovation and the new generation of artificial intelligence.The keynote speeches by four speakers from the Third World Intelligence Congress are selected as the source text,follows the method of syntactic linearity by addressing a large number of clauses and long difficult sentences,the polysemy and listening comprehension,so as to improve the efficiency and speed of simultaneous interpretation.Moreover,it's essential to timely adjust the word order when the interpretation is not smooth,accurately convey the source language information to more idiomatic expressions after understanding the source language,and promote the exchanges and cooperation,win-win and sharing among the international community accordingly.This report firstly introduces the task overview of pre-translation preparation,translation process,and describes post-translation work from English to Chinese through summarizing and reflecting the source language to the transcribed interpretation,discusses the four difference modifier placement of subject,attribute,adverbial and extended mechanism of sentence structure between English and Chinese,analyzes the main reasons for different word orders and how interpreters tackle the process of word order.It puts forward seven coping tactics of simultaneous interpretation by segmentation,addition,summarization,conversion,repetition,omission and waiting to cope with the bilingual difficulties they bring,improving the quality of the target language.Last but not least,this report will analyze the inadequacies,and put forward suggestions.It is hoped that this report will provide effective guidance in the practice of simultaneous interpretation.
