Learning motivation is one of the important affective factors in the process of second language learning,which plays an encouraging and guiding role in learning activities of students.At the same time,it plays the key role on the study effect.The foreign students at the primary stage from the international education college of Anhui normal University and Wuhu Vocational and Technical College have high overall learning motivation level.But the average performance degree in different motivation types is different.For example,at the bedding of source motivation,the level of internal motivation is higher than that of external motivation.At the bedding of purpose motivation,the intensity of educational motivation and temporary motivation is higher than that of instrumental motivation and integration motivation.Under the influence of gender,age,nationality,education background,school,learning experience and learning time,students show different degrees of differences in all kinds of learning motivation.The learning effect of foreign students can be shown through the performance tests,the completion of language communication tasks,and the practice after class,which is significantly related to external motivation,instrumental motivation and integrative motivation.Therefore,in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,teachers should focus on the characteristics of the students,vary from person to person,and teach according to their aptitude.At the same time,teachers should pay attention to the learning situation of different students,analyze specific problems concretely,lay emphasis on the influence of external factors on students,which can improve the level of instrumental motivation and integrative motivation,so as to produce better learning effect and teaching effect.
