Network movies gradually get on the right track after experiencing the early confusion,and cultivate a great number of technical talents for the film market.However,affected by factors such as narrow subjects,target audience,the production teams,and production costs,etc.,it lags far behind theatrical films.In the context of today's booming network movie market,a high-quality script seems to be both crucial and rare.Compared to theatrical films,they lay distinct emphasis on commerce and art.The plot structure suitable for theatrical films might not show an advantage in network movies,and vice versa.For instance,the theatrical films regarding martial arts that used to be highly recognizable and culturally valuable are now declining.And network movies may take this subject over.Therefore,it is of great practical and guiding significance to the research on martial arts network movies.This paper first conducts a review of the current status with respect to network movies and martial arts movies,and the creation law regarding martial arts network movies will be explored and explained mainly by means of the actual script creation process of the network movie Qimen Yanjia.In Chapter 1,the rising,development,target audience,and existing problems of network movies is briefly analyzed.Research is conducted with respect to the issue that how to better integrate the martial arts subject and network movie media.Based on this,the influence upon the script creation of network movies is discussed and the difference between network movies and theatrical films is displayed.Chapter 2 and Chapter 4 mainly explain the script techniques of the network movie Qimen Yanjia,which is created and filmed by the author.A comparison with theatrical films is conducted in terms of the subject setting skills,character portraying laws,and structure design patterns,so that the creation laws unique to the network movie script may be discovered.In conclusion,this paper,basically by means of analysis of the script of the network movie Qimen Yanjia,searches for innovative methods that are able to integrate the martial arts subject and network movies,analyzes the script creation of network movies,and sums up the experience,so that theories could be better put into practice.Meanwhile,this also remarks a summary with respect to the academic career and practical career of the author's post-graduate period.
