Neutral tone is a special sound change phenomenon in Mandarin Chinese, which plays a vital role in the communication process. There are some difference between the light pronunciation of Indonesian students and the Chinese standard pronunciation. The author carried out an acoustic experimental analysis of monotonic and disyllabic neutral tone for eight Indonesian students from Hebei Normal University. And compared with the Chinese standard pronunciation from the aspects of tone, duration and value,to find the differences in pronunciation between Chinese and Indonesian students.I hope to find out the mistakes made by Indonesian students in learning Chinese neutral tone and explore the reasons for their mistakes. It provides reference for future Indonesian students to learn neutral tone and teachers' teaching of neutral tone. This article is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction. This part is based on the theoretical foundation and research results of the predecessors, and analyzes and summarizes the research status of neutral tone words and phonetic problems of Indonesian students. This section explains the main experimental content and experimental methods of this thesis, and puts forward the importance of Chinese neutral tone words for acquiring Chinese tones,as well as the significance and value of learning Chinese neutral tone words for Indonesian students to learn spoken Chinese and rules of Chinese. The second part is the experimental design. This section is mainly designed for the Indonesian students to study the acoustic experiments of neutral tone, including single tone and double tone. The content of the experiment is to use praat to collect the recording files of Indonesian students and Chinese standard sounds, analyze the duration and fundamental frequency of the recorded monosyllabic and disyllabic neutral tone, and normalize them to form graphic comparisons. In this section, the experimental subjects, experimental materials, recording environment and data processing process are introduced in detail. The third part is the analysis of experimental results.Based on the results of previous acoustic experiments, this section analyzes the combination of four tones and neutral tone of eight Indonesian students. The author analyzed the tone, length and pitch of each of theinternational students and Chinese standard sounds one by one,and explored the mistakes of neutral tone acquired by Indonesian students, laying a foundation for corresponding teaching suggestions in the future. From the comparison of the lengths, the length ratio of the last syllables to the preceding syllable of "Yang Ping + neutral tone" and "Shang Sheng + neutral tone" is relatively high. From the comparison of pitches,in the two-syllable neutral tone combination, the foreign students have lower initial tone values for "yin ping + neutral tone",and the neutral tone of "shang sheng + neutral tone" and "qu sheng + neutral tone" are high.In terms of tonality, male international students have errors in the syllable pattern of the preceding syllables of the combination of "Yin Ping + neutral tone" and "Shang Sheng +neutral tone".The fourth part discusses the causes of errors. This section explores the reasons why foreign students acquire errors in Chinese neutral tone, mainly including negative transfer of mother knowledge, phonetic assimilation, teachers 'reasons, the lack of emphasis on neutral tone in Chinese assessment, and students' personal factors. The fifth part is teaching strategies and suggestions.Put forward teaching suggestions from the aspects of language comparison between China and Indonesia, cultivating students' soft consciousness and teaching process. The sixth part is the conclusion. This section summarizes the previous article and summarizes the research results and deficiencies of this paper.
