Homework is an organic part of teaching activities.Reasonable homework can extend the learning time after class.Homework plays an important role in both mother tongue teaching and second language teaching.The development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language should not only rely on the limited classroom time,but also make full and effective use of the time after class,which not only helps students consolidate knowledge outside the classroom,but also provides an important channel for teachers to master students' learning situation and understand their abilities.This paper is based on the homework situation of the Srisuvit school,which I mastered during my volunteer work as a Chinese teacher in Thailand,to carry out an investigation and research on the design,layout and inspection of Chinese homework.The thesis includes the following parts:The first chapter introduces the research background,research purpose and significance,and the research status at home and abroad.The second and third chapters introduce my investigation and interview on the homework of the school when I was teaching there.I acquired information about the school's homework through the following channels: with the help of the local Chinese teacher of the school,I consulted the homework files left by some outgoing Chinese teacher volunteers;Interviews with local Chinese teachers;Conduct a questionnaire survey on students;Observe the same group of Chinese teacher volunteers in the school practice Chinese as a foreign language classroom.I analyzed the attitude of teachers and students towards homework,the types and contents of homework,the arrangement of homework,and the inspection of homework,so as to have a more comprehensive and true understanding of the school's homework.Based on the investigation and analysis of the previous two chapters,chapter four focuses on putting forward improvement strategies from four aspects: homework awareness,the form and content of homework,the way of arrangement and the evaluation system,hoping to play a positive role in improving the effect of Chinese homework in the school.
