Japanese-Chinese Interpreting Practice Research Of Notes From New Japan

In recent years,exchanges between China and Japan are increasingly frequent in all aspects,and language has played an indispensable role of a bridge.As the second main foreign language,Japanese reflects the attractiveness of society and culture in Japan to Chinese.Translation activities are essential in the process of cultural exchange.In Japanese-Chinese translation,translation often occurs with the phenomenon of foreignization or expressions that do not conform to Chinese habits.These problems are called "translationese ",which directly affects the quality of the translation and is not conducive to communication.This article selects the documentary Nara and Kyouto kamogawa of Notes from new Japan as a practical content,which focuses on cultural customs and extends from individuals and families to sacrifices,customs,and diet.The documentary consists of narration and interview.In practice,the translation of these two parts is not exactly equivalent.Much more attentions are being paid to wording and context in narration than in the interview,so the problem of translationese being found is also more obvious in the narration.So how to eliminate the problem of translationese in Japanese-Chinese translation has become the main research direction of this practice.This thesis is composed of four parts.The first part introduces purpose,significance of the topic,as well as the domestic and foreign research ontranslationese.The second part introduces the content of the topic,and describes the whole practice process,which is divided into pre-translation preparation,translation process,and post-translation collation.By comparing subtitles,the third part finds out and sorts out problem in translationese on both sides to summarize their characteristics.Examples given from lexical,syntactic,and textual aspects are to explain the translation strategies.The fourth part summarizes the solution strategies of translationese problem.Through the practice of the documentaries,the problem in translationese to be revealed and solved.In addition,references are provided for those who want to study the Japanese-Chinese translationese.
