Due to the features of diversity and authenticity, interview programs are popular among the public. The host exchanges and shares values and cultural connotations with the guest under a certain subject, which arise sympathies of audiences, thus to reach an interaction between individuals and society. With increasingly cross-cultural communications, interview programs with interpretation service are becoming increasingly popular, interpreters play an important role in the scenes. The author chose a simulative interpretation as a practice task and a foreign teacher and a Ph.D.candidate were invited as interviewer and the host. And the author(i.e.the interpreter)played the part of interpreter for both parties with consecutive interpretation throughout the simulation.Characteristics of interview refer to many aspects, such as concise language, pace and less formal languages. The whole process can bring less logical and unexpected situations,so interpreting of interview makes the interpretation much more challenging.Given this situation, the interpreter referred the Paris School of Interpretation as a theoretical support to help interpreter deal with the obstacles more effectively. When task was finished, the interpreter transcribed the recording file and discovered two main problems, which are translationese and obstacles in syntactic structure transformation, and followed by solutions as well.At the end of the practice report, the author concluded experiences and inspirations in the interpreting process to help in further interpretation tasks.
