Research On The Current Situation And Trend Of The Inheritance Of Traditional Chinese Music In Colleges And Universities

Traditional Chinese music is facing a dilemma of deteriorating in the living soil due to internal factors such as the easy loss of musical scores,a small number of music audiences,and limited transmission methods,as well as external factors such as the status of education dominated by "Western music".As an important position for cultural inheritance,colleges and universities have shouldered the burden of protecting and inheriting Chinese traditional music culture.In the process of inheriting Chinese traditional music,universities have demonstrated their regional,professional,systematic,and informational advantages,laying a solid foundation for building on past achievements and striving for new progress of Chinese traditional music.Focusing on the inheritance concerning traditional Chinese music in Colleges and universities,this paper selects Xi'an Conservatory of Music,Quanzhou Conservatory of music and Peking University to conduct a case study on the inheritance of specific traditional music.It analyzes the inheritance characteristics and shortcomings of the three universities,finds that traditional Chinese music in universities relies on research institutions,national policies and information technology for traditional music protection and theoretical research,relies on discipline construction and inheritance plan for professional teaching and talent training,dependents on art troupes and featured works for traditional music culture communication and audience training,and promotes culture with innovation in works and forms.By comparing the similarities and differences of the inheritance methods of the three universities,the author finds that Chinese traditional music presents development trends in the new cultural soil of universities.From the perspective of internal development trend: first,traditional music has been paid more and more attention in the music education of universities.The cultural value and aesthetic education value of traditional music are increasingly obvious,universities bear the burden of inheriting Chinese traditional music.Second,the traditional music universities have gradually established an ecological circle of inheritance.By the construction of the ecological circle of inheritance and development of traditional music universities,which can achieve a favorable circle between the protection,research,inheritance,innovation of traditional music and the cultivation of talents and teachers.Third,the continuous innovation of traditional music works and media in universities has brought more opportunities for the times.From the perspective of external development trends: first,traditional music is given more policy inclination and capital investment in universities,and a series of national policies,art funds and social capital support have become the most solid backing for universities to conduct the inheritance of traditional music.Second,it gives full play to the synergistic effect of the government,universities and society,and realizes the mutual promotion,mutual benefit and win-win of the three parties in the protection and inheritance of traditional music.Third,universities have promoted the traditional music from domestic to international,enhanced the international popularity and influence of Chinese traditional music,and made contributions to the process of blending Chinese traditional music with the world music culture.
