Huang binhong is a learned scholar and artist.He works extensively on calligraphic works,paintings,poetry,identification of cultural relics and epigraphy.In particular,he works hard on epigraphy.As early as in 1907 he began to organize and join a large number of stone epigraphic calligraphy and painting associations,and Zhenshe(a club),,Tijinguan(a Chinese art museum)and Xileng Seal Club printing society,is the activity of stone painting and calligraphy masters had gathered place,with the local stone,seal cutting,the establishment of a broad companionship between collector is possible the continuation of the stone epigraphic calligraphy activities and the important basis of the formation of academic thought.Based on this,the author takes the historical background of the prosperous epigraphy studies in which huang binhong lived as the blueprint,relies on the ideological background of ancient fashion formed by epigraphy studies,and huang binhong's personal collection of ancient seals and the integration of printing spectrum as the theoretical background for in-depth discussion of epigraphy prints.This paper attempts to make a systematic analysis and summary of huang binhong's thoughts on epigraphy through his writings on epigraphy,letters with friends,manuscripts and other materials,so as to conclude huang binhong's thoughts on epigraphy in five aspects,namely,on method,creation,style,the relationship between printing and calligraphy and painting,and on the appreciation of the ancient masters of printing.Among them,the "will of Zhou of" and "outside","qi" of not neat is huang stone epigraphy thought essence,eventually succinct summary its stone epigraphy thought for the period of the republic of China seal cutting creation and the student two aspects of the influence of the composition.It is hoped that more attention and attention can be paid to it.
