Research On Translation Of "DE" Clause Into Uyghur

First of all,“DE”clause in the paper specifically refers to the structure of predicate-subject clause after“DE”.As for the research on such sentence patterns,extensive discussion has been aroused among modern Chinese scholars.And for the research on such structure,“DE”clause has been mentioned under the macro describtion of the category of causation in modern Chinese by most of the predecessors,yet without extensive research on“DE”clause itself.Although researches by precessors covered it,the study was not very profound.And the research fruits of translation on such sentence patterns are rare to see.Therefore,in-depth study on translation of“DE”clause into Uyghur is carried on in the paper.In the paper,the feature of“DE”clause in modern Chinese is described simply.And describtion in sections of“DE”clause is conducted,in which characteristics of every part are described.In the mean time,the semantic and pragmatic features of“DE”clause are introduced briefly.And“DE”clause has been classified into 3 categories according to syntactic structure,structureN₁+V₁+De+N₂+V₂,structureS?NP+V₁?+V₂+De+N+V₃”andNP1+preposition+NP₂+V1+De+NP₃+V₂.Based on the observation of the corpus,this paper finds that there are different semantic types under the same syntactic structure.Therefore,according to the semantic types,the“DE”clause can be divided into the“DE”clause with the subject in the front and the“DE”clause with the object in the front.On the basis of summarizing the syntactic structure and semantic features of the“DE”clause,this paper describes the translation of different types of“DE”clauses and finds that the semantic and pragmatic focus of“DE”clauses can be inconsistent.As to further explain such phenomenon,the paper implements inductive classification on different translation methods adopted in translation of“DE”clause,and explains how to deal with the situation where the semantic and pragmatic focus of“DE”clauses are inconsistent.The translation methods are classified into two categories which are translating the OC clause into the causative form,and dealing with"V de"and OC respectively.And dealing with"V De"and OC respectively can be divided into these approaches consisting of translating the V-De verb into cause form,translating the OC clause directly,translating the V-De verb into state auxiliary verb form,translating the OC clause directly,translating the OC into the form of expressing the meaning of degree,and translating the V-De verb into predicate.And translating the V-De verb into predicate can be further divided into three parts:translating OC into the form of"demonstrative verb+similitude of form",translating OC into the form of"noun?adjectival verb?+similitude of form",translating V De verb and OC clause into supplementary compound sentence and other forms.At the end of research,the paper summarizes the translation techniques of“DE”clause,generating a regular conclusion.
