Investigation and research found that the number of high-school students in China with a high level of test anxiety is 20%,and test anxiety has become a prominent problem facing high school s tudents.Examination anxiety not only affects the academic performance of high school students, but also affects their physical and mental health. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to explore the influencing factors and psychological mechanisms of high school students' examination anxiety.According to the ecosystem theory and the quality-stress model, parental psychological control may be one of the most important parenting behaviors affecting high school students 'test anxiety.Negative perfectionism may be the psychological mechanism of parental psychological control affecting high school students' test anxiety. In addition, the current research mostly adopts a parental psychological control scale compiled abroad, which may not fully reflect the way Chinese parents control their children. Therefore,This study consists of two parts.Study 1 compiles a measurement tool for psychological control of parents applicable to Chinese local culture.350 and 600 questionnaires were distributed to a high school in Shijiazhuang, which were used for item analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and reliability and validity analysis of the newly developed parental psychological control scale for high school students.Study 2 used the Parenta l Control Scale for High School Students, the Chinese Frost Perfectionism Scale, and the Test Anxiety Scale to test 600 students in a high school in Shijiazhuang.SPSS 24.0 and Mplus7.0 were used for data analysis to investigate the effects of parental psychological control on test anxiety of high school students and its possible mediating mechanisms and boundary conditions. The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The newly revised parental psychological control scale for high school students has good reliability and validity, and can be used as an effective measurement tool for parental psychological control of high school students.(2)There is a significant difference between father's psychological control and mother's psychological control perceiv ed by high school students.Compared with fathers, high school students perceive more negative evaluations and trigger guilt among mothers,Compared with mothers, high school students perceive higher emotional neglect of fathers; There is a significant difference in the gender of parents' psychological control perceived by high school students.Compared with girls, boys have higher parental psychological control; There is a significant difference in the gender of the hesitation dimension of negative perfect ionism, and the degree of hesitation of girls is significantly higher than that of boys; There is a significant difference in gender of test anxiety among high school students, and girls have significantly higher test anxiety levels than boys.(3)Parents' psychological control significantly predicts high school students' test anxiety, and mothers 'psychological control has a greater impact on high school students' test anxiety than fathers.(4)Negative perfectionism partially mediates the effect of parents' psychological control on test anxiety of high school students.(5)Gender plays a moderating role in the relationship between parental psychological control and high school students 'test anxiety through negative perfectionism, that is,girls' negative perfectionism has a greater impact on test anxiety than boys.
