In the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,the application of demonstration skills plays a crucial role,especially in the elementary and intermediate stages.Because of the initial stage of learners Chinese proficiency is limited,and poor cognitive ability.Intermediate learners have some understangding of Chinese,but they can't fully grasp the meaning and usage of grammer or vocabulary.In this case,the instructor is required to make full use of demonstration skills in teaching.However,in the TCSL class,many teachers do not fully and properly apply the demonstration skills.The application of the demonstration skills can help the teachers to explain the obscure knowledge to the learners in a simple and understandable way,so as to effectively improve the teaching efficiency and enhance the learners' Chinese knowledge.So this article examines presentation skills.Firstly,the theory of demonstration skill is studied.Secondly,the application of demonstration skills in each language elements is analyzed.Finally,the necessity of demonstration skill is proved through the actual teaching effect,and the teaching suggestions are put forward.The first part of the paper is the introduction,which is composed of four sections,the reason and significance,the research ideas and methods,and the characteristics of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.The second part of the paper is about the relevant theoretical basis of demonstration skills in the elementary and intermediate teaching.This part consists of three sections:the theoretical basis of demonstration skills;The classification and function of demonstration skills,and the basic principles of demonstration skills:Full preparation,clear purpose;Visual image,contact with the actual;Standard operation,the right time.The third part of the paper is the specific application of demonstration skills in the teaching of language elements,which includes four sections,namely the teaching of demonstration skills in the four elements of production,Chinese characters,vocabulary and grammar.The forth part of the thesis is the feedback of the actual teaching effect and teaching suggestions.The researcher of this thesis draws a conclusion by comparing the experiments of the two classes in the actual teaching.The last part of the paper is the conclusion,which summarizes the paper.In addition to the knowledge and content of Chinese Teaching as a Foreign Language,TCSL teachers should also master the basic teaching skills,which are exactly what many teachers lack.In the International Chinese class,the teacher makes full use of demonstration skills,which can stimulate learners' interest in learning Chinese,enhance the interaction between teachers and students,shorten the distance between teachers and students,and enhance learners' initiative in learning Chinese,so as to improve teaching efficiency.Therefore,it is hoped that TCFL practitioners can attach importance to the importance of demonstration skills in the classroom and fully and appropriately them in the classroom.
