The Research Of Wang Li's Literary Thoughts

Wang Li(1314-1386),was a native of LuLing(now Ji 'An,JiangXi province),he is good at article,he has plenty of literature,but most of them were scattered and lost.Today,his Collected Works of Lin yuan which is 24 volumes only exists in the world.Wang Li's literary reputation spread in the outside world at that time,the people of the time not only praise his literary talent but also highly value his moral quality.His theory of literary thoughts is very rich,has a certain representative in the Yuan dynasty's literary theory,and contains the ancient literary theory development vein.This paper tries to explore Wang Li and his literary thoughts.This paper is divided into four chapters:Chapter one: Wang Li's life and friends.First of all,the author makes an investigation on his life and friends,and probes into the origin of his literary thoughts.Chapter two: Wang Li's academic origin,mentalities and literary criticism.First of all,this paper discusses the cultural tradition of his hometown,further explores the origin of his literary thoughts,and then draws out three identities and mentalities of his litterateur,adherents of former Yuan dynasty and hermits.Then discusses Wang Li's literary criticism of Boyan Zizhong's poems and others'.Chapter three: Wang Li's literary thoughts.According to his Collected Works of Lin yuan,the author studied and discussed Wang Li's literary thoughts,extracted his four main thoughts of literary theory: "A work can be widely disseminated and worth chanting must be good at expressing feelings and temperament" �� "feelings and temperament theory";"Poetry can be different from middlebrow only when it expresses true feelings and describe true scenery" �� "feelings and scenery theory";"The article comes from two kinds of gas of literature" �� "gas of literature theory";"To collect poetry for the sake of literary history,this is responsibility of litterateur" �� "poetry collection theory".Finally,in the conclusion,the author summarizes the continuation and development of his four main thoughts of literary theory in the Ming and Qing dynasties,and draws the conclusion that Wang Li's literary thoughts were typical and representative in the Yuan dynasty,had certain influence on the development of literary theories in later generations,and were also of great value in the development history of ancient Chinese literary theories.
