Metaphor is that people express and understand abstract, intangible and complex target domain concepts(such as psychological feeling, social relations, morality, etc.)with the help of concrete, tangible and simple primary domain concepts(such as color),so as to realize abstract thinking.China is a multi-ethnic country. In the long course of historical and social development, the Mongolian nationality has formed its own unique language and culture due to its unique natural environment and way of production and life.In Mongolian culture,"white"(chagan)is one of the colors advocated, which symbolizes purity, goodness, auspiciousness and light. The attitude toward "black"(xar)is basically negative,as a symbol of pain, disaster, evil, and jealousy. In han culture, white and black are both praised and criticized. The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of Mongolian and han college students in the representation of black and white color metaphor.Study 1 was to explore the Mongolian and han nationality students in black and white color metaphor characterization, through the experiment 1 and experiment 2,the results show that both the Mongolian students and han nationality college students, there were black and white color metaphor consistency effect, namely moral word to white than black moral word fast reaction, reaction to black than white unethical word unethical word quickly.Research 2 aims to explore whether the black and white color cognition of Mongolian and han college students is influenced by the metaphorical representation of black and white color.Through experiments 3 and 4,the results show that both Mongolian and han college students judge the square color as light gray after the oral evaluation of moral words. On the contrary, after the verbal evaluation of immoral words, the subjects judged the square color as dark gray. The results show that(1)the metaphorical association between Mongolian and han college students in the black and white color dimension is psychologically realistic, that is,the black and immoral words are consistent, and the white and moral words are consistent.(2)there is a consistency effect of black and white color metaphor between Mongolian and han college students, that is,immoral words are black and moral words are white, which are processed quickly.(3)the activation of black and white color metaphor representation affects the color cognitive judgment of Mongolian and han college students, that is,the processing of the concepts of moral words and immoral words will affect the color judgment of the gray block toward the same direction of black and white color metaphor.
