Zhao Benfu’s creation has strong local characteristics.From the depiction of customs and scenery to the depiction of amorous feelings and human nature,all of them embody strong local color,but the most striking thing is his deep love for the land.This paper focuses on his local writing,takes the "Mother Earth" trilogy as the object,through close reading of the text,and combines the author’s creation experience to discuss the value pursuit and aesthetic imagination behind his local writing,reveals and presents the author’s conversion to and worship of land.The main body of the paper is divided into four chapters.The introduction part briefly introduces Zhao Benfu and his works,combs the research situation of Zhao Benfu’s local writing,and explains the problem consciousness of this paper on the basis of clarifying the concepts of "local".The first chapter of the thesis explores the reasons of Zhao Benfu’s local creation from two aspects of natural emotion and rational consciousness,and analyzes the development of his local creation from two aspects of the author’s emotional change and the influence of literary environment.The second chapter,based on the works,analyzes the worship of land written by Zhao Benfu from the perspective of women,connecting land and motherhood to construct the myth of mother earth,and analyzes the author’s original wild vitality written from the three levels of wasteland,human and animal.The third chapter analyzes the value pursuit behind the author’s local writing,analyzes the author’s complaint about the distortion of human nature and the atrophy of life caused by modern civilization,and reveals the author’s ideal pursuit of returning to land and nature to obtain life salvation.The fourth chapter analyzes the similarities and differences between Zhao Benfu’s local novels and the local creations of "New Realism" and "New History" schools,and further analyzes Zhao Benfu’s alternative writing of the images of farmers and villages and his romantic aesthetic pursuit of legend and warmth.
