The high school student group,as the future builder and successor of the country,is at an important turning point in life.Their physical and mental health as well as their pursuit and aspiration for success will profoundly affect the future development direction and level of the country. In the process of growing up since childhood, the family is the most direct and concrete environment for children to grow up.Parenting style is a collection of parents' behaviors, attitudes, and emotions towards their children.Positive parenting styles help to cultivate good habits and strong self-confidence in high school students. From ancient times to modern times,we can find that firm self-confidence is the character trait shared by every successful person. Some studies have found that self-efficacy is one of the internal motivations for achieving achievement goals, and it plays a certain role in achievement behavior. From this,we wonder whether high school students' achievement motivation will be affected by academic self-efficacy.Based on this, this study mainly explores the influence of parenting style on achievement motivation in high school students, and further discusses whether academic self-efficacy plays an important role. This study explores the current situation of high school students' family parenting style, achievement motivation, and academic self-efficacy.To provide theoretical and empirical support for the promotion of senior high school motivation, and enrich the ways to improve senior high school motivation, this paper further discusses the correlation among the three variables of high school students' academic self-efficacy,parenting style and achievement motivation through statistical analysis of the effective data collected by the questionnaire method. In this study, high school students from Changchun,Zhengzhou,Luoyang,Shangqiu and other places were selected as test subjects.A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed and 460 valid questionnaires were recovered. The results obtained are as follows.1.There are significant differences in demographic variables in the parenting styles of high school students. The emotional warmth and preference of parentsperceived by girls are significantly higher than those of boys, and the severe punishment, excessive interference, refusal to deny, and excessive protection perceived by boys are significantly higher than those of girls;Only children have significantly higher levels of parental emotional warmth and preference than non-only children, and severe punishment, excessive interference, excessive protection, and refusal to deny are significantly lower than non-only children; The higher the father's education level, the higher the emotional warmth and preference of the parents; The parents' emotional warmth and preference level of senior two students are significantly higher than that of senior one and senior three students, and the parents' severe punishment level is significantly lower than that of senior one and senior three students; The parents' excessive interference and the mother's refusal to deny of senior three students are significantly higher than those of senior one and senior two students;Parents of experimental high school students have significantly higher emotional warmth and preference than non-experimental high school students.Strict parental punishment, excessive interference, refusal to deny, and excessive protection are significantly lower than those in non-experimental high school students.2.The academic self-efficacy of high school girls is significantly higher than that of high school boys; The only children's sense of self-efficacy and self-efficacy in learning behaviors were significantly higher than those of non-only children; The higher the father's education level, the higher the academic self-efficacy of high school students; The academic self-efficacy of Senior three students is significantly higher than that of Senior one and Senior two students;Experimental class students' self-efficacy and learning behavior self-efficacy were significantly higher than non-experimental class students.3.The achievement motivation of high school girls is significantly higher than that of high school boys;Only-child high school students are significantly higher than non-only-child high school students; The higher the father's education level, the higher the achievement motivation of high school students; The motivation of high school students in the experimental class to pursue success is significantly higher than that in the non-experimental class, and the motivation of avoiding failure is significantly lower than that in the non-experimental class.4.High school students' parents' emotional warmth and preference are significantly positively correlated with achievement motivation and academic self-efficacy.5.The severe punishment of parents of high school students, excessive interference, excessive protection and denial are significantly negatively correlated with achievement motivation and academic self-efficacy.6.High school students' academic self-efficacy and achievement motivation are significantly positively correlated.7.Academic self-efficacy plays a mediating role between father's emotional warmth and achievement motivation. In summary, there are pairwise correlations among the three variables of parenting style, achievement motivation, and academic self-efficacy of high school students. In addition, academic self-efficacy is a mediating variable between parenting style and achievement motivation of high school students, and plays a part of mediating role. These research results tell us that we can improve the academic self-efficacy by improving parenting style, thereby enhancing high school students' own motivation for achievement and promoting their academic performance. The paper can also provide a reference for how to improve the academic performance of high school students in the future.
