A buzzword is a special term that is widely popular and quietly disappears d uring a certain period of time.With the development of network technology,online buzzwords have emerged in an endless stream,which has been loved by young people and has attracted the attention of the society.Buzzwords play an important role in modern Chinese language communication,especially in onli ne social communication.Introducing buzzwords into teaching Chinese as a foreign language has a positive effect on solving the obstacles faced by foreign students in daily oral communication.Based on the characteristics of the buzzwords and the actual ne eds of the students,the thesis summarizes the necessity of combining the "structure-function-culture" to teach the buzzwords.As far as language attributes are concerned,buzzwords are lexical content in modern Chinese.The diversity of their origins determines the diversity of their expressions.As far as cultural attributes are concerned,buzzwords are popular in the form of language,and there is a deep behind.The prevailing cultural connotation;in terms of social attributes,buzzwords are a reflection of social change and social psychology,related to a specific time background.Therefore,in the practice of popular language teaching,its structural form and cultural connotation should not be neglected.It should also strengthen communication training and emphasize pragmatic functions.The buzzwords teaching should apply the three aspects of structure,function and culture to the teaching practice activities.When teaching the buzzwords,we should focus on the introduction and expansion of cultural kno wledge with the theme of “structure-function”.In the course of structure explanation,teachers should be the leader,and students should be actively guided to understand the formal rules of popular language.When focusing on functional project training,s tudents should be the center,fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students,and strengthen communication training in cultural situations.Cultural factors should run through the entir e activities,thus deepening the meaning of buzzwords and understanding of Chinese culture.Finally,make a design about buzzwords teaching,based on the concept of "structure-function-culture".Under the premise that the buzzword does not belong to the content of the textbook currently,try to hold a large-scale buzzwords knowledge culture popularization lecture.
