This paper selects 22 popular buzzwords that have been widely used in recent years,and investigates and analyzes the contact situation,understanding,interest and attitude of foreign students in these foreign buzzwords through questionnaires and interviews.Provide some feasible suggestions for the teaching of foreign language in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The average contact rate of international students in 22 foreign buzzwords is only 20.47%,but the correct rate in the sentence has been greatly improved.It can be seen that the context has a great influence on the understanding of foreign language.The understanding of foreign students' for the foreign buzzwords is steadily improving with the improvement of Chinese proficiency;the cognitive gap between senior,intermediate and junior students is mainly manifested in the complex structure,rich meanings and small dependence on context.Popular words.The mother tongue's mother tongue and second language background,the geographic distance between the country of foreign students and the source country of foreign buzzwords,the national education level,the development and popularization of network technology will all affect the understanding and cognition of foreign students' foreign language.International students have different cognitive characteristics for different categories of foreign buzzwords.The understanding of transliteration of foreign buzzwords is better;the foreign language of borrowing is often intuitively understood according to its mother tongue or second language background,ignoring contextual information;for Chinese and English block foreign buzzwords,the cognitive focus of international students In English words,they tend to be partial and do not understand the overall meaning.For Japanese-language vocabulary words,foreign students often use Chinese characters or collocations to test their meaning.Overall,80.68%of international students are interested in foreign buzzwords,and 67.05%of international students want to learn about foreign buzzwords in class.According to the language characteristics and use environment of foreign buzzwords,it is recommended to place foreign pop language teaching as part of interest teaching in the middle and advanced stage;teaching should focus on understanding in the process of communication,not emphasizing use;according to the source of foreign buzzwords,for different countries The teaching methods of international students should be different;pay attention to the classification of foreign popular words,grasp the common teaching methods of similar popular words,and highlight the individuality of individual buzzwords,pay attention to the relationship between the original meaning and the extended meaning in combination with context;For freedom and flexibility.
