Instructional design, as a guide of the whole teaching activity, is also an important part in instructional activity and has been receiving teachers’attention. In the process of second language acquisition, speaking is not only a powerful way of learning new knowledge, but also an embodiment of learning effect. However, instructional design of oral classes has not attracted much attention in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. An oral class is practical, interactive and flexible, which requires a higher standard of teaching and is great helpful to students’studies and lives. This thesis will take the teaching design of "Jiajia dou shi xin fangzi" for example, which is abstracted from speaking textbook "Developing Chinese Elementary Speaking course 2", published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press. On the basis of principles of practicality, feasibility, innovation and efficiency in oral classes in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the paper mainly discuss how to develop instruction content in planned way by using the Input Hypothesis Model of "i+1". The purpose is to have a better learning of this text.This paper analyzes and summarizes the research of instructional design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, teaching theory in the initial stage of a phased teaching and in accordance with curriculum. In the whole teaching idea, the author made this textbook analysis that "Developing Chinese Elementary Speaking course 2". According to the characteristics of this textbook, the author chose these teaching methods:Q&A method, Display method, Situational method and so on. The author chose ten international students from different countries as analysis of teaching object. The analysis includes observe and record of study habits and performance in classroom. According to the characteristics of textbook and students, the author puts this lesson into four teaching time, tells the specific teaching process for each teaching time, compares differences of student mastery in different teaching content, obtains different effects of the "i+1" in using different teaching content. Finally, the author summarizes teaching characteristics and the principle of oral classes. So with a good instructional design, which is a clear and precise guidance, teachers will have a deep understanding and students will have a clear direction.The analysis of speaking textbook "Developing Chinese" and instructional design of oral classes in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is the basis of specific teaching design. The paper compares different teaching effects by using and generalizing different teaching contents and specific teaching methods, expecting to have benefits for instructional design of oral classes. In the meanwhile, it may be helpful for Chinese learners at the preliminary level to improve abilities of words summary and associative memory, thereby further training self-learning ability.
