Chinese-language ontology research,Chinese-language textbook research and Chinese-language dictionary(ie,export-oriented Chinese dictionary)research are trinity in international Chinese teaching, but research on export-oriented Chinese dictionary is still less, and mainly focused on the study of nouns, verbs, adjectives, separation and color words. This article takes the idioms in The Commercial Press Learner's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese and A Chinese Dictionary for Learners and Teachers as the research object. We conduct the research by interviews, questionnaires, corpus analysis, and comparative study. The research mainly includes three parts. The first and second chapters are the first part, and this part is about the investigation of idioms' teaching and learning. From the investigation,we found that idioms in the textbooks should not be underestimated, but there are still problems in the teacher's idiom teaching and the students' idioms learning. The dictionary users have a strong demand for idiom learning and extroverted Chinese learning dictionaries. The second part includes chapters 3,4,and 5.This part compares the idioms in the two dictionaries, including idioms' number, interpretation and illustrative sentences. It is found that the two dictionaries generally conform to the principles of interpretation and illustration. However, there are still some problems, for example, the pinyin labels are not standardized, the interpretation words are too difficult and the example sentences have problems with presentation of semantics, grammar, and pragmatic. On this basis,in the third part of the article(Chapter 6),we proposed some suggestions on the setting of idioms in the export-oriented Chinese dictionary,in order to make a contribution to the development of the export-oriented Chinese dictionary. |
