Complex sentence is one of the most important and difficult points in the teaching of complex sentence,and the effect of the application of the complex sentence by foreign students has not been very good,so the teaching of the complex sentence has been constantly studied and the teaching efficiency has been improved.There are a lot of researches on complex sentences,including the acquisition order of complex sentences,acquisition errors,the acquisition of complex sentences by foreign students of different nationalities and grades,and the Study of complex sentences in teaching materials of TCFL.The teaching material is one of the important links in the teaching process,the teaching material arrangement quality will have the important influence to the teaching,therefore discusses the complex sentence arrangement quality in the teaching material to raise the complex sentence teaching efficiency is very essential.This article mainly takes "The Road To Success" elementary comprehensive textbook as an example to investigate the importance of the arrangement of complex sentences to the teaching and learning of complex sentences.The article is divided into five chapters,excluding the introduction and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the reason of choosing the topic,the research present situation,the research content and the method.The first chapter is to investigate the types,arrangement order and grade selection of complex sentences in the primary stage of the textbook in the light of the compilation reference syllabus of the textbook "Chinese Teaching Syllabus for Foreign Students in Colleges and Universities"(carried out for a long time),it is found that there exists the phenomenon of over-class and over-class in the textbooks.The second chapter is mainly about the annotation of language points and the selection of example sentences.The result shows that the annotation of language points is innovative.The third chapter studies the repetition of the complex sentences in the textbook with the help of language attrition theory,frequency hypothesis,Hermann Ebbinghaus’ s memory theory and forgetting curve.The total repetition rate of the complex sentences is very high,but the reappearance equilibrium and the reappearance interval need to be further adjusted.The Fourth Chapter is the analysis of the practice setting of the complex sentence in the road to success,mainly from the number of exercises and the type of exercises to investigate,found that the quantity of exercises in the textbook is sufficient,but the type of exercises is relatively simple.The fifth chapter is a summary and analysis of the problems found in the previous chapters,and put forward some corresponding suggestions.Finally,the conclusion summarizes the main content of this paper and the shortcomings of this paper.
