In recent years,with the development of globalization,China's international status has been rising,and China has gradually become the second largest economy.China has gradually reached the center of the world stage.More and more countries in the world have set their sights on China.As the most populous language in the world and a legal working language of the United Nations,Chinese plays an important media role in international communication.Therefore,a large number of Teaching Chinese as a second language talents are needed at home and abroad,and the major of Teaching Chinese as a second language is becoming hot.In response to overseas demand,more and more Chinese teacher volunteers shoulder the mission of spreading Chinese culture and go to other countries to teach Chinese.The study found that:(1)The level of Thai language and the experience of volunteers for Chinese teachers who went to the Thai People's Education Committee in 2018 were the key factors affecting the cultural shock of volunteers;(2)The cross-cultural adaptation of volunteers was psychological adaptation is better than social and cultural adaptation,social and cultural adaptation is better than work adaptation;(3)Volunteer psychological adaptation is good,they know how to enjoy their current life and maintain a good attitude;(4)Difficulties in volunteers' social and cultural adaptation for interpersonal adaptation and public transportation;(5)The difficulty of volunteers in job adaptation is the school's educational policy and teaching objectives.According to the above findings,the author has made suggestions on the cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese teachers and teachers to the Thai People's Education Committee from the volunteers themselves,the Thai school and the Hanban.This thesis expects Chinese teachers will be better qualified for the job.We should successfully complete our teaching tasks and fulfil the mission of spreading Chinese culture.
