A Simulated Chinese-English Consecutive Interpreting Practice Report On The Method Of Memory Difficulties Under The Guidance Of Effort Model

Wuhan,as the central city in central China,is marching from the old national industrial base to the national advanced manufacturing industry base.The open class Approaching Wuhan · China’s Industry implements the Ministry of Education’s Ideological and Political Curriculum action plan,and demonstrates the unique charm of Chinese cities in the new era and the transformation of “industrial power” in a new historical position.Therefore,this report selects the content of the three chapters in the open course as corpus,which aims to make the world better understand the development of Chinese urban industry,show China’s economic strength and promote economic cooperation and exchanges.The main problems found in this interpretation practice are memory difficulties,which are divided into professional knowledge of original language memory disorder,confusion of note memory,lack of hearing memory information,psychological anxiety and subtitle effects.Through the analysis of cognitive activities such as comprehension,memory and output in effort model,corresponding strategies are proposed to distribute the effort reasonably,including fully preparing professional knowledge,perfecting the note-taking system,and adjusting psychological pressure.Through this practical report,the interpreter found that the problem of memory difficulties is ultimately a problem of effort model.Therefore,it is very important to improve the comprehensive ability of interpretation to ensure that all efforts are not overloaded.The analysis and resolution of memory are also the key to improving the quality of interpretation.It is hoped that the strategies proposed in this paper to provide some inspiration for the related research and practical application of memory strategies in consecutive interpretation.
