The Study Of Parody Words In Three-syllable New Words In The Past Decade

This article takes the three-syllable parody words in New Chinese Words(editor by Hou Min and Zou Yu)from 2008 to 2017 as research objects,and research the three-syllable parody words in these ten books as a whole,describe and analyze parody words from the perspective of lexicology,study the status of parody words,the evolution and influence of vocabulary development,through a comparative analysis of the inclusion of parody words in the Modern Chinese Dictionary(seventh edition),provide standardized comments on the collection of new words and parody words.A total of 1297 three-syllable parody words in this study in the past ten years,the parody words include four types: form parody,homophonic parody,semantic parody,and dual-purpose parody.Among the four types of parody words,there are 1089 forms of parody,including 798 parody of the former,250 parody of the post,and 32 parody of the middle;there are 34 homophonic parody,including 31 imitated Hanyu Pinyin Pronunciation,2 imitated English pronunciation,and 1 imitated combination vocabulary pronunciation;there are 128 semantic parody,including 82 parody words belonging to the same category,42 antisense parody,and 4 parody words belonging to close meaning;there are 46 dual-purpose parody words selected,including 26 parody and abbreviations,17 parody and metaphors,and 3 parody and metonymys.Among them,the three types of form parody belong to the same category,therefore,the number of the same category in parody words is mostly.Then analyzes the characteristics and impact of parody words.There are four characteristics of parody words:the ontology part has diversity,the imitative part is productive,the ontological part and the imitative part are related,and the ontological part and the imitative part are corresponding;analyze the three positive impacts of parody words:enriching the vocabulary system,predicting the development trend of words,and enriching the expression effects,however,there are also some problems:thephenomenon of random imitation,the meaning is not clear,and some negative impact on language specifications.The rationale of the trisyllabic parody words mainly contains external,inter nal,psychological and cognitive mechanism.External justification includes social objective environment,sociocultural psychology;internal justification includes the language-saving principle,systematic laws of words,generative language materials,psychological justification includes association,analogy,gestalt and understanding;cognitive mechanism includes metonymy mechanism and conceptual blending theory.The three-syllable words added in the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition)also include the words generated by parody morphology,which are divided into synonyms,antonyms,and words of the same category,the principles of new words included in the dictionary,including the principles of necessity,norms,universals,stability,and system.The normalization of parody words includes suggestions for the selection of ontology part,and strategies for creating imitative part,the selection of ontology part follows the principles of commonality and stereotyping,the strategy for creating imitative part should pay attention to the similarity between imitative part and ontology part,as well as the rationality of analogy.
