The Dream of the Red Mansion,which was written in the middle of the Qing Dynasty,is the first of the four famous Chinese classics.It is universally regarded as the pinnacle of Chinese classical novels,an encyclopedia of Chinese feudal society,and a master of Chinese traditional culture.It can be seen that Dream of the Red Mansion plays an important role in the history of Chinese literature and culture.The importance of Dream of the Red Mansion is not only reflected in literature and traditional Chinese culture,but also in linguistics.From the perspective of vocabulary,the vocabulary in Dream of the Red Mansion covers all aspects of clothing,food,housing,and transportation,which comprehensively shows the language of modern society,and provides a rich corpus for the study of modern Chinese.At the same time,Dream of the Red Mansion is a representative of modern vernacular novels.The language used is both written and spoken,which shows the overall characteristics of modern Chinese language use in a comprehensive manner.It has great research significance from both a synchronic perspective and a diachronic perspective.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the definition of trisyllabic words in modern Chinese,the current academic research on trisyllabic words and the vocabulary of Hong Lou Meng,the significance,research value,research content and research methods of this article.The second part is the analysis and research on the structure of the trisyllabic words in the first eighty times of A Dream of Red Mansions.By analyzing the morphological structure of the285 trisyllabic words in the first eighty times of A Dream of Red Mansions,the first eighty The structure of the three-syllable words is dominated by partial formal structures,followed by the number of verb-object structures,additive structures,and overlapping structures.The third part is the analysis of the meanings of the trisyllabic words in the first eighty times of A Dream of Red Mansions.Based on the relationship between the meanings of the trisyllabic words and the morpheme meanings of the constituent words,the meanings of the first eighty times of the trisyllabic words in A Dream of Red Mansions are formed.Divided into combination structure,fusion structure,attachment structure.Through analysis and comparison,it is explored that the combination constitutes the most significant word,and the number of the fused composition is the second.The adherent composition is mainly the "stem + sub" structure.The fourth part compares the three-syllable words in the first eighty words of "A Dream of Red Mansions" with the three-syllable words in "Dang Wudai Language Dictionary",thethree-syllable words in "Journey to the West",and the three-syllable words in "Modern Chinese Dictionary".The characteristics of trisyllabic words.The trisyllabic words in "Hong Lou Meng" are similar in structure to modern Chinese.The types of parts of speech are more abundant than those of the trisyllabic words of the Tang and Five Dynasties periods and the trisyllabic words of the Ming Dynasty,but less than the types of parts of speech in modern Chinese.In terms of composition,the combination composition is the main,and the fusion composition is the second,showing the characteristics of flexible vocabulary changes with the development of society.
