Academic pressure has an important impact on the physical and mental health of middle school students.However,at present,few studies have explored the influence mechanism of academic pressure on the mental health of junior three students who are facing high school entrance examination.This study intends to explore the influence of academic pressure on junior three students' mental health from the perspective of emotional regulation strategies.In the first study,the academic pressure questionnaire was used to measure the academic pressure of junior three students,and the mental health scale was used to measure the mental health of junior three students.The results showed that the grade students in pressure mainly comes from achievement goal,external environmental pressure,setback pressure and competition are the four aspects,the four aspects of the stress are the most closely contact and grade students in learning,so the impact on their mental health is also the biggest,and academic pressures of four dimensions: the achievement target pressure,external environmental stress,frustration stress and competitive pressure and mental health were positively correlated,grade students in dimensions of academic pressure positively predict mental health.Academic stress is an effective predictor of mental health.Study two is based on study one,adopting the emotion regulation strategies scale for measuring grade students in emotion regulation strategies(cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression)frequency of use,through the "academic stress scale" and "the mental health scale" to understand the academic stress and psychological health status,and through the statistical analysis tools to discuss their relationship.The results showed that the cognitive reassessment of junior three students was significantly positively correlated with their mental health,while the cognitive reassessment of junior three students was significantly negatively correlated with their academic pressure,while the mental health was significantly positively correlated with their academic pressure.Emotional regulation strategy plays a part of mediating role in the influence of academic pressure on the mental health of junior three students.The conclusion of this study will have a certain practical significance for the intervention of junior three students' mental health.
