With the increasing international status of Chinese,Chinese as a foreign language has been paid more and more attention by the educational circles,and the Chinese teaching methods are emerging in an endless stream.The author,as a teacher of Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum in the primary intensive class of Shanghai Normal University during the postgraduate study,finds that the Experiential Teaching method cannot improve the learning efficiency and enthusiasm of students effectively in some aspects.In order to better carry out the teaching of Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum,the author has tried many teaching methods and finds that taking Production-oriented Approach as the teaching concept to a supplement,which makes up for the deficiency of Experiential Teaching method.This effectively realizes the teaching goal of Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum and the learners' learning efficiency is also better than before.This paper will verify the positive role of the Experiential Teaching method combined with Production-oriented Approach in Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum from theory to practice and discuss it from the following aspects:The first chapter introduces the significance of the topic,the current research situation of Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum,Experiential Teaching method and Production-oriented Approach at home and abroad.Besides,it alsoillustrates the theories,method to be used for solving problems in this paper.The second chapter mainly introduces the application of Experiential Teaching method in the Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum of the primary intensive class of Shanghai Normal University.First of all,the author introduces the current situation from three aspects---teaching materials,learning situation and teaching principles.Then,use the Experiential Teaching method to carry out the teaching in the Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum.Through the analysis of teaching feedback,this paper sums up the shortcomings of the Experiential Teaching method in the Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum.In the third chapter,the author discusses how to use the Production-oriented Approach as a teaching concept to a supplement of the Experiential Teaching method in the Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum in the primary intensive class of Shanghai Normal University.The author introduces the main viewpoints and teaching steps of the Experiential Teaching method combined with the Production-oriented Approach and then verifies the feasibility of using the Experiential Teaching method combined with Production-oriented Approach in the Chinese Audio-Visual &Speaking curriculum of the primary intensive class of Shanghai Normal University from the theoretical point of view.In the fourth chapter,the author illustrates how to use the method to carry out the teaching practice.Through the analysis of teaching feedback,the author summarizes the advantages of the Experiential Teaching method combined with the Production-oriented Approach used in the Chinese Audio-Visual & Speaking curriculum as well as the relevant teaching suggestions.The fifth part is about the conclusion.It shows the main contents and shortcomings of this paper.
