With the upsurge of learning Chinese and the development of mobile Internet,Chinese learning app is rising.There are many kinds of Chinese learning apps in the mobile application market,with different characteristics.This paper selects two Chinese learning app software,Pleco and train Chinese,which are often used by foreign students,to compare their functions,interfaces,interactions,content preparation and other aspects,and through the form of questionnaire and interviews,based on the data of the survey results to carry out comparative analysis.And then understand the current Chinese learning app in the use process of Chinese learners shortcomings and needs to improve.Based on the results of the survey and the learning needs of the interviewees,development suggestions are given.There are six parts in the paper:The first part introduces the topic selection and research background of this paper.Chinese learning app is developed in the Internet technology today in response to the learning needs of Chinese learners.What role it plays in Chinese learners' learning and how it is used are the contents of this paper.In this part,the research methods,technical routes,innovation points and shortcomings are introduced.The second part describes the theoretical basis and research status of this paper.Autonomous learning theory,informal learning theory and constructivism learning theory are the theoretical basis of this paper.This chapter also combs the existing literature review on Chinese learning app.The third part: introduces the development process and current situation of Chinese learning app,classifies the app,and introduces two kinds of app,Pleco and train Chinese,which are about to carry out comparative investigation.The fourth part describes the design of questionnaire and interview for Pleco and train Chinese app.The fifth part: the key part of this paper,based on the results of the investigation and interviews.The results show that Pleco has some advantages over train Chinese in terms of function support,interface display and content preparation,such as oral English learning,Chinese character learning,vocabulary learning and Pinyin learning design,but it also has disadvantages,such as errors in individual sentences and pronunciation,too simple interface and inconvenient operation,etc.The interviewresults show that Chinese learners want app to be more interesting and rich in content,and most of the interviewees agree to appropriate charges..The sixth part: Based on the comparative analysis of the survey results and the interview results,the paper gives suggestions for the development and improvement of app.Finally,the paper draws a conclusion.It is hoped that the research of this paper can help the improvement of Chinese learning app and Chinese learners' Chinese learning.
