With the deepening of China's opening up,the extension of globalization,as well as the development of vocational schools in China, more and more foreign countries begin to cooperate with China in vocational education.Against this backdrop, the demand for liaison interpreters has increased. This report, based on an interpreting practice the author did for Zealand Business College of Denmark and Shenzhen Second Senior Technical School,is aimed to analyze difficulties the author encountered in the process and propose strategies.Taking the interpreting practice as a case study, the report reviews the task background and process of the interpreting practice.Directed by the Interpretive Theory, the author tries to apply the Triangle Model to analyzing the three procedures of interpreting, namely comprehension, deverbalization and reformulation, and tries to propose relevant strategies in light of IT Theory to deal with the problems in the interpreting.Through analyses and summaries, the author finds that sense is the ultimate goal of interpreting.Interpreters should precisely deliver the speaker's sense to audiences instead of interpreting the source language word for word.Interpreters should apply appropriate strategies to coping with different problems so as to achieve sense. The report summarizes the author's benefits and limitations of the task.By providing the author's first-hand experience and proposed strategies, the report is expected to give some suggestions and references for other interpreting learners as well as the author's future interpreting study.
