In recent years,the relationship between China and Thailand has become closer.Both in terms of economy and culture,the relationship between China and Thailand has been continuously strengthened.As a big country in Southeast Asia,Thailand has a close relationship with China.The upsurge of Chinese has been rising for many years,and the number of Thai students learning Chinese is increasing year by year.The author found that in the process of learning Chinese,many Thai students will encounter the corresponding difficulties,especially in the aspect of Chinese vowel learning,the single vowel and nasal vowel have less errors in the learning process of Thai students,while the complex vowel has more errors.The author will start from the difficulties of Chinese vowel pronunciation learning of Thai students,through direct analysis and research on the problems that Thai students often encounter in learning vowels,and comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai vowels,finally put forward some targeted teaching and practice methods.The first chapter briefly discusses the purpose and significance of this study,reviews the history and current situation of the previous research on the teaching of Thai and Chinese vowels,and elaborates the influence of the previous research results on this paper,and finally explains the research object and method of this paper.In the second chapter,the author firstly gives an overview of the Chinese and Thai vowels,and makes a comparative analysis of the two languages to find out the differences and connections between the two languages,which is of guiding significance for the following analysis of acquisition difficulties and teaching suggestions.In the third chapter,according to the previous research results and the survey results,we find out the difficulties of Thai students' learning vowels,as well as the difficulties of students' feedback.Three methods are used here to investigate Thai students.One is to give them the test papers we have prepared and check whether they have any pronunciation errors.Next is the interview method in order to investigate the students,which vowel they have difficulty with.Finally,all the results are analyzed to find out the reasons why it is difficult for Thai students to learn vowels.In the fourth chapter,the author sums up the reasons why Thai students have pronunciation errors.On the basis of the comparison between Chinese and Thai,thispaper puts forward some teaching strategies and practice methods for the difficulties in Chinese finals of Thai students.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of this paper.In addition,it also points out the shortcomings of this paper in the research process and the future research prospects.
