Research On Giving Verbs Teaching To Foreign Students

Giving verb is a difficult point in language teaching.Foreign students often make mistakes in learning giving verbs.The paper selects 94 giving verbs,and errors are based on the data from HSK dynamic composition corpus and the author's teaching practice,and chunk teaching method is proposed,hoping that the newly proposed teaching method in the study can improve the teaching effect of giving verbs to foreign students.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is introduction,which introduces the purpose and significance of this paper,how to select the research objects and the main sources of corpus,sorts out the status of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to giving verbs,and expounds the ideas and methods of this paper.The second part is the ontological study of giving verbs,mainly elaborates the definition of giving verbs,and makes a classification study of giving verbs in Chinese learning for foreign students.The third part is error analysis of foreign students' learning giving verbs,summarizes the error types of foreign students' learning giving verbs,and analyzes the internal and external factors of errors formation according to the error types.The fourth part is advantages and disadvantages of traditional teaching methods of giving verbs,and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of existing teaching methods of giving verbs.The fifth part discusses the new teaching method of giving verbs based on chunk teaching.Through preparing students,teachers and teaching materials,it puts forward teaching methods and skills suitable for foreign students to learn giving verbs,and designs specific teaching cases.The sixth part is conclusion,summarizes the writing situation of this paper and reflects the shortcoming of the research.
