In the 21^stcentury,rapid growth in economy as well as advanced telecommunication contributes to interaction among countries around the world.Simultaneous interpreting serves as the important belt when it comes to international conferences and cultural exchanges.At the same time,it cannot be ignored that simultaneous interpreting plays a significant role in academic exchanges and cultural crash.The report is about the simulating simultaneous interpretation practice,which is based on Gu Liqun'speech.This simulating C-E practice report on simultaneous interpreting is from speech of Professor Gu Liqun in Chongshan Campus of Liaoning University on Dragon-Boat Festival in 2019.Professor Gu Liqun delivers her speech in a fluctuated speed and with her native dialect as well as more colloquialism.Meanwhile,there are many professional terms and experiments on psychology.Thus,challenges are encountered by the interpreter in terms of understanding dialect and expertise in psychological knowledge.The interpreter uses the principle of syntactic linearity as the grounding principle of this practice report designed to deal with difficulties such as unclear logic relationship,long and complex sentences as well as great pressure on short-term memory during simultaneous interpreting and adopts technical strategies including segmentation,anticipation,conversion,omission and addition.The interpreter finally draws a conclusion through the practice report that language is the bridge of communication.In the meanwhile a great deal of practical experience and theories on interpreting are necessary as a qualified interpreter.Language is the carrier of content,which requires the interpreter must be equipped with knowledge and terms on professional fields.Only in this way can we be a qualified interpreter.
