The strategy of“Ecological Civilization and Rural Revitalization”is a major strategic adjustment of China in the 21~stt century. From the perspective of the heterogeneity of capitalist agriculture and China's agricultural civilization for thousands of years, the strategy of rural revitalization has global significance.Against this backdrop,Professor Wen Tiejun of Renmin University of China delivered a wonderful speech on the theme of“Key Point of Rural Revitalization:Eco-resources Industrialization and Industries Turn into Eco-civilization”at the Shandong Summit on Rural Revitalization. This paper is a practical report written by the simulated simultaneous interpreting with the keynote speech of Professor Wen Tiejun. The whole process of simultaneous interpreting is recorded in this report.Under the guidance of the coherence rule of Skopos Theory, the interpreter makes an in-depth analysis of specific cases in this interpreting practice. In view of the problems of language redundancy and loose structure in the interpreting process, the interpreter adopted three translation methods including amplification, omission and sentence reorganization to solve the main problems in this interpreting practice and to convey the interpreting to the target audience clearly, accurately and coherently. The practice of simultaneous interpreting has realized the integration of theoretical knowledge and interpreting practice and widens the application of the coherence rule of Skopos Theory. This report will not only helps to introduce the strategy of Rural Revitalization and Ecological Civilization to the world, but also provides a reference for future conferences interpreting learning and practice.
