Application Of Music Therapy In Social Work

The scientificalness and artistry of social work have always been the pursuit goal of the profession,and also the working state of social workers.As a learner and practitioner of social work,the author presided over and participated in certain social work service practice.In the practice of social work projects,social workers find that the service objects they contact have a strong desire for the spiritual level.The release of pressure,expression of emotion,spiritual experience and so on become the internal needs of the case owner.Once these needs are restrained,or lack of good channels to present,there will be such or such problems in the case owner's physical and mental state and family relations.When services are integrated into certain music elements,it often has a better effect,which brings opportunities for social work service experience accumulation,skill enrichment and boundary expansion.This paper is based on the practical projects I presided over and participated in,through literature,observation,action research and other methods to show the process of music therapy used in social work,and analyze its advantages and strategies.This paper selects three typical cases,in which music therapy is mainly used in social work services,and the practice is based on the social attribute of music,the theory of mirror neuron and empathy,the theory of inductive classification prototype of music,etc.Among them,through the direct service of music therapy to case 1,the connection between the service object and the external world is realized;through the intervention of case 2,social workers link the resources with the indirect service route,adjust the emotional level of the service object with the direct service route of music therapy,and then jointly realize the physical and mental integration of the service object;through case 3 The integration of music therapy and comprehensive service breaks the space limitation of service object and the rigid boundary between family members.Therefore,whether it is the numerical changes in the comparison between pre-test and post test,or the state changes and functional improvement of the service objects and their families,we can see the artistry and technicality of music therapy.Through combing the theoretical and practical service projects,it is found that the use of music therapy in social work is worthy of in-depth exploration.In the social work service,the characteristics of music can act on the service object and social workers at the same time,making the service process more harmonious and pleasant;at the same time,the technical means of music therapy itself can produce different feelings of classification and induction for the service object,and can modify or enrich the positive impact brought by this stimulation with the help of social workers.Social workers pay attention to the ways related to life through music remodeling.Through music,they can express the emotional mapping established in life,find the nodes of establishing emotional mapping and classifying errors,and use music to sense emotions and alleviate emotions.Social workers can also change the combination of music elements and in-depth interviews so that the service objects can feel the correct cognition of rational actions and their emotions,accept and self understand and complete the classification.Under the establishment of empathy,the case owner and social workers support each other in the classification of rational behavior to complete the reconstruction.As the advanced life of system existence,human change needs both technicality and artistry.Therefore,taking music as a bridge to promote social workers to focus on mapping,empathy,and change around the case owner itself,so as to expand the boundaries of social work and enrich the methods of social work.
