School social work aims to improve the school environment and conditions, andhelp students improve the abilities of study and life which are in trouble. School socialwork can also help students overcoming difficulties in growth and achieving the goalof school education. Cognitive behavioral therapy is through the cognitive andbehavioral techniques to change the adverse cognitive egotism,this psychologicaltreatment will be correct the bad behavior effectively. In this paper,that is, cognitivebehavioral therapy will be used in school of social work.I was entranced the BaotouRailway No.l middle school to carry out the research program. In nearly three monthsof field observation and the specific interventiori,I was helped the school students toimprove learning interest and initiative, cultivate their good behavior habit.The main content of this paper include:First,as the research background, this paper introduces the author into the BaotouRailway No.1middle school to carry out the field survey and the problems whichfound during the field observation.Throughing the questionnaire survey,I wasanalyzed the causes of the problem and provided reference for following specificintervention.Second, as the core content of this paper, The author was introduced thecognitive behavioral therapy using specific operation process and practice of schoolsocial work field. The author through set up the study group,to help students get ridof previous bad exist in the study of the cognitive and behavior; Through the use ofcognitive behavior therapy, The author helped a pair of twin sisters to improve poor family relationship; Through the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, The authorhelped an inattentive students to finish class behavior change and form good habits.At last,epilogue part,The author reviewed the basic process of school socialwork practice and summarized the experience and the deficiency existing in thepractice.The author’s main point is:The middle school students are form an important period in the personalitydevelopment and behavior, The factors such as education,environment which theyaccepted will determine their personality development and behavior patterns.Cognitive behavioral therapy can be correct and improve the bad personality orbehavior patterns,and it also the has the advantages of the treatment time andtreatment effect.For this reason,school social work has broad application prospect.In the implementation of cognitive behavioral therapy, the author ifnd that thereasonable moderate attention could been the precondition of behaviormodification-establishing mutual trust relationship with client and giving affirmationand encouragement for them could able to implement and obtain good effect.
