Liang Zongdai and Zhu Guangqian are important poetry theorists in the development of new poetry.In the context of the 1920 s and 1940 s,The commonalities and differences between Zhu Guangqian and Liang Zongdai's poetic functional theory show the complexity of poetic theory and the individuality of the critics themselves.Their poetics and functional views complement each other from different angles and jointly broaden the aesthetic realm of poetry.It is conducive to the development of new poetry and promotes the modernization of poetry.Therefore,this paper attempts to compare the poetic function theory between Liang Zongdai's and Zhu Guangqian's.This article is divided into five chapters.The first three chapters take the poetry's lyric function view,enlightenment function view and aesthetic function view as the starting point,systematically discuss the functional views of Liang Zongdai and Zhu Guangqian,and compare the functional views of the two.The third chapter clarifies the source of their ideological theory.Both two were influenced by traditional poetics and Western thoughts,and they were creatively integrated into these ideas.This difference in Chinese and Western interaction thinking is related to their cultural temperament.The fourth chapter analyzes the significance of comparing the functional theory of two poets.From the perspective of the development of new poetry,the functional views of the two provide a new possible creative model and perfect the picture of the theory of poetic function,which promotes the development of poetic function theory.From the perspective of the process of poetry modernization,it promotes the modern development of poetry concepts and poetry skills.
