Gongyi grottoes temple is located in gongyi city,henan province.There are five grottoes preserved here,among which the statue of sakyamuni in cave 1 is the most exquisite and largest.However,due to age and various adverse factors,the damage is very serious.How to make this excellent culture last forever is a major problem that must be solved to protect and inherit the statues of grottoes and temples.Is to explore the digital art under the support of digital technology to the traditional statue of the restoration,restoration methods and principles;In this way,it is constructed into the virtual reality scene experience design of grottoes temple,so as to achieve the practical purpose of digital protection and cultural inheritance and promotion of grottoes culture.The statues in gongyi grotto temple have experienced the replacement of dynasties and have very high aesthetic value and research value.In recent years,there has been more and more fusion design of grotto art and new media,and the development of digital art has brought a broader space for the application of new media.At the same time,it is difficult for art and technology to have a good combination in the process of digital protection of cultural heritage,so it is urgent to explore a new research path to better integrate art and technology.Therefore,based on the research foundation of grotto temple statues,the study of history,religion,aesthetics and other disciplines is integrated,and through many field visits to the grotto temple in gongyi,the author combines theory with practical experience to summarize and summarize the styles of grotto temple statues.The virtual reality technology is used to show the charm and charm of the grotto temple,to deepen the understanding of the grotto plastic arts of the masses,so as to arouse people's attention.In this study,the author made several investigations on the grotto temple in gongyi,analyzed the historical track of the grotto temple and the artistic characteristics of the grotto statues,and analyzed and summarized the artistic characteristics of the grotto temple in detail by combining the literature and historical materials.During the research period,the author collected data from the grottoes for many times and processed the collected information.After analyzing the relevant cases of digital preservation and inheritance of grottoes at home and abroad,this paper restored the no.1 grottoes of gongyi grottoes temple,and restored thedamaged statues digitally by using 3d modeling software.Combined with virtual reality technology,the sakyamuni image is realized in Unity3 D.This paper attempts to provide a reference for the preservation of grotto culture and art and the research and promotion of traditional culture by studying the digital art representation of grotto temple in gongyi.
