The Source And Evolution Of Disyllabic Time Adverbs

Time is an important part of language expression.Time adverbs account for a large proportion of adverbs,there are many researches on time adverbs by predecessors,but there are few systematic researches on their diachronic development.In this paper,time adverbs are divided into three categories: time adverbs,frequency time adverbs and order time adverbs,the time adverbs are divided into the adverbs of system and the adverbs of time,the formation and evolution of it are described in detail and systematically,and based on the theories of lexicalization,grammaticalization and cognitive linguistics,this paper summarizes the characteristics,motivation and mechanism of the formation of time adverbs.The full text is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of the article,which makes a brief analysis of the significance and purpose of the research on the diachronic sources of time adverbs,the research object and current situation are collected and summarized,and the definition of time adverbs,syntax,semantics,pragmatics,the study of modern Chinese time system,and the diachronic evolution of time adverbs and time adverbs in special books are collected and sorted out.The second chapter is the study of the adverbs of time system,which have a large number,have selected the�Qian jiao(??),Hou jiao(??)�and�Zi gu(??)�which have not been studied by the predecessors or are less studied,this paper makes a detailed study of its diachronic evolution and development,and makes a brief analysis of the causes of the formation of�Qian jiao(??),Hou jiao(??)�.The third chapter is the study of adverbs of tense and aspect,and chooses the�Ji jiang(??)�and�Zao yi(??)�which are less studied by predecessors as the analysis objects,this paper first analyzes the process of its components�Ji�,�Jiang�,�Zao�and�Yi�,then analyzes the formation process of the two syllable adverbs�Ji jiang(??)�and�Zao yi(??)�.The fourth chapter is about the study of frequency time adverbs,and selects the�Lv lv(??)�and�Lei lei(??)�which are less studied by predecessors as the research objects,and also summarizes the common features of the formation of the frequency time adverbs.The fifth chapter is about the research of the time adverbs in the table order,and chooses�Shou xian(??)�and�Zai ci(??)�as the research objects.And make an investigation on the process of lexicalization.There are two usages of�Shou xian(??)�and�Zai ci(??)�in the process of using,one is the usage as adverb,the other is the usage as pronoun,both of which are more.The sixth chapter mainly summarizes the characteristics,motivation and mechanism of the formation of the disyllabic time adverbs from the theoretical point of view.There are two characteristics of the formation of disyllabic time adverbs: The referential morpheme does not have time meaning at first,and the degree of the disyllabic time adverbs' virtualization is different.The motivation of the formation of disyllabic time adverbs mainly includes syntactic position,semantic change,prosody demand,high frequency use and other factors.The main mechanisms of its formation are cognitive metaphor and re analysis.The seventh chapter is the conclusion of the article,which mainly summarizes the formation process of the disyllabic time adverb,and summarizes its formation characteristics,motivation and mechanism.
