The Practice Of Simulate Simultaneous Interpreting Under The Guidance Of Gile's Effort Model

The vigorous development of the Internet has led to the continuous birth of emerging industries,and China is in line with the world.Simultaneous Interpreting is a link of exchanges,which is of great significance.Therefore,the state is increasingly demanding of interpreters.In the process of simultaneous interpretating,the interpreter will be influenced by many factors,such as psychological pressure,on-the-spot environment and so on.The interpretation quality and results will deviate to a certain extent.This report is based on the materials collected from the 2019 Tencent Global Ecological Conference-WeChat Special.The author transcribes the audio and sorts it out.The simulation is conducted under the guidance of Gile's Effort Model,and resolves some issues that may arise.Daniel Gile initially put forward the Effort Model in his book Basic Concepts and Models for Interpreter and Translator Training in 1995.This thesis is focused on the communicative strategies and analyzes the common communicative strategies by combining the practice of simultaneous interpreting.It enables the interpreter to accurately grasp the problems encountered under the Effort Model and make correct judgments and solutions,so as to successfully complete the interpretation task.The communicative strategies can help the interpreters overcome difficulties and solve interpretation problems so as to maximize the interpretation quality in the shortest time.Communicative strategy is not only a kind of strategic ability,which can help interpreters overcome difficulties and solve problems so as to optimize their efficiency in the shortest time,but also a measure of their ability to a certain extent.Therefore,while mastering the theory of communicative strategy,the interpreter should also put it into practice and combine theory with practice so as to solve the problems caused by the unbalanced allocation of energy.Through this practice,the author hopes to maximize the application of energy allocation in simultaneous interpreting,and also hopes that the study in this thesis will promote the further development of interpreting teaching.
