The interpreter selects the guests' speeches at the Digital Cultural and Creative Industries Session of Tencent Global Ecosystem Summit in 2019 as materials for C-E simultaneous interpreting. The cultural and creative industry is an emerging industry taking creativity as its core in the background of economic globalization, while digital cultural and creative industry is a new type of industry using information technology to digitalize information products and services. In terms of the characteristics of the selected material, the interpreter applies interpreting methods and techniques such as literal approach, paraphrasing, addition and omission based on Daniel Gile's “Effort Model” to solve and analyze the problems. In addition,as a result of the speed rate of speakers in material and terms involved in it,the interpreter analyzes the impact of sufficient preparation on energy allocation to avoid the phenomenon of cognitive load.As an explanatory tool,in this interpreting practice,Effort Model combines specific interpreting methods and techniques to balance interpreter's efforts and poses a positive effect on interpreter.Interpreters will encounter the test of professional knowledge and the application of reasonable methods and techniques to distribute efforts well.Under the pressure of intensive information and the speed rate of speakers, the interpreter made a study of Gile's Effort Model to minimize the energy load during the interpreting process. The significance of this report is that when interpreters perform simulated interpreting, they can allocate the efforts to macro-control their interpreting status and improve the quality reasonably. At the same time, the interpreter hopes that interpretation such as digital cultural creation can be of some help and reference to interpreting research in this field.
