Research On The Imperial Edicts Of Emperor Xuan Of Han

Imperial edict is the exclusive style used by the ancient Chinese emperor to issue orders.It is an important document for studying politics,economy,society and other fields in a specific historical period.Imperial edict research is also an important part of the study of literature,stylistics,history,and politics.This paper uses the method of literature analysis to study imperial edict of Emperor Xuan of Han,which is included in the handed down documents such as “The History of the Former Han Dynasty”,as well as those founded in the Han bamboo excavated in Dunhuang and Juyan.This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is about brief Introduction to imperial edict of Emperor Xuan of Han.This chapter begins with a general review of the style and content of imperial edict of Emperor Xuan of Han.According to the recognized "four-pin theory" of the Han Dynasty imperial edicts,his edicts were classified according to their styles,and the titles and quantities of various styles in the decrees were more intuitively understood.Because the content covers many fields and covers a wide range,so all decrees are also classified according to the three major aspects of politics,society,and military diplomacy to grasp the content of imperial edicts as a whole.The second chapter is about literary Creation in the Emperor Xuan's Period Seen from imperial edicts.This chapter mainly explores the relationship between edicts and literary creation activities from the study of Confucian classics,the sense of heaven and humans,and the concept of ritual and music sacrifices,as shown in his edicts,and further understands the characteristics of literary works in this period from the ideological and cultural background.The third chapter is about social features of Emperor Xuan's Period from his imperial edicts.Because the content covers a wide range,imperial edict can be viewed to a certain extent as a mirror reflecting the social outlook of a particular period.From the imperial edicts,we can understand the situation in the areas of government,rule of law,social livelihood and foreign affairs,as well as the efforts and changes in these areas during this period.The fourth chapter is about looking at Emperor Xuan of Han from his imperial edicts.The text is the externalized expression of people's inner thoughts,and the decree is the only visible text of Emperor Xuan of Han,part of which shows his thoughts and emotions.Starting with the edict,combined with a certain historical analysis,to understand the side of gratitude and gratitude in his character and his ideology and concept of Emperor Wu of Han.
