| Pu Xuan is a writer with distinctive characteristics in Hubei literature.His works have broad vision,wide range of subjects and diverse styles,involving youth growth,family marriage,shopping malls,and life at the bottom.Pu Xuan’s literary creation has been published for nearly 20 years,and he has published more than 30 short stories.He has won many important prizes such as “Qu Yuan Art Award”,“Hubei Literature Award” and “Fiction Monthly” “Hundred Flowers Award”.Literary awards show a good strength.In 2017,Pu Xuan published a non-fictional narrative long piece of The Pain Point,which caused great repercussions among the commenters and ordinary readers,which marked that Pu Xuan’s thought exploration and literary techniques reached a new level.But overall,the academic circles don’t pay much attention to Pu Xuan’s creation.The research on the overall style of text interpretation and creation is still lacking,and systematic and in-depth academic research is still scarce.This thesis attempts to conduct a comprehensive investigation and discussion on the existing works of Pu Xuan,to clarify the types of themes,to explore its artistic features and aesthetic style,to clarify the ideological connotation of the writer’s creation,in order to more fully display the literary world of Pu Xuan.Under the observation of the literary world in Hubei and even the whole country,it reveals the value and limitations of Pu Xuan’s literary creation.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The main body is divided into three chapters,the main contents include:The first chapter classifies and discusses the themes and themes of Pu Xuan’s creation,and solves the problem of “what to write”.There are three main types of Pu Xuan’s creative themes.The first category is the youth campus narrative.The youth of Pu Xuan’s youth fades from the beauty it deserves and reflects the cruelty inherent in the inner.The author compares the middle-aged life with the campus life.The second category is the theme of urban life.The author’s description of the female marriage dilemma shows the male fall and the female self-injury in the materialistic society.The concern about the fate of the private enterprise ismainly reflected in the spiritual world of the private enterprise boss.The third category is the literary record of family suffering and the bottom villagers.The author deeply depicts the living conditions and mental psychology of the elderly and the disabled,showing the distress and love of birth.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the aesthetic style of Pu Xuan’s works and solves the problem of Pu Xuan’s "how to write".This chapter starts from the three levels of language,imagery and narrative,and discusses the change process of Pu Xuan language from sharp and bright to warm and soothing;analyzes the structure of static and dynamic image in Pu Xuan’s works,reveals "Mandarin","Sun" and "Gone with the Wind" The inner meaning of literary imagery such as "Leading";Pu Xuan also experienced the development and change from realism to pioneering experiment in narrative,which not only inherits the realistic tradition of Hubei literature,but also enriches the artistic style of Hubei literature.The third chapter aims to explore the ideological connotation of Pu Xuan’s works and analyze the question of "what to write".Through the discussion of the three key points of "trauma and cure","desire and humanity","sickness and life and death",this chapter explores the psychological code,spiritual clues and their ideological content contained in Pu Xuan’s works,and reveals the value of Pu Xuan’s creation.significance. |
